New flood zone elevation for Whiskey Island is 7ft. Most of grounds are at or near 7ft. This enables homes to be constructed on slabs. 138 massive live oaks surround the lodge. Barn with guest suites. Walking trails throughout. Abundant wildlife and great fishing. The lodge consisting of 1 bed/7 bath was built for entertaining. Architected that designed lodge and grounds was a Harvard graduate world renown John Exely. Stained glass windows throughout the lodge was designed by renowned artist Paul Dufor. They depict the scenes you see outside of the lodge. The harvest table in the lodge was made of Joyce Cypress in 1910 and purchased at a cost of $4,000. 00. Tennis court is USTA certified championship court. Field behind the tennis court is a certified regulation football field. The swimming pool is a Jacuzzi salt water pool designed to match the shape of the adjacent lake. The pool house includes a fitness room, showers, lockers and flat screen tvs. 7 artesian wells complement the property.
