Fort Worth, Texas, is known as the starting point for 'Where the West Begins,' a throwback to its roots as a cow town. As the fifth-most populated city in Texas, it spans about 300 square miles. Even as the city progressed toward modernization, its western roots continue to be one of its biggest tourist draws. This area is packed with old-fashioned eateries, saloons, the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and other authentic venues.
