Tim Fagan was promoted to President, Classified Ventures Real Estate Division, in April 2006. Tim is responsible for the strategic direction and operational oversight of CV's two leading real estate businesses, HomeGain and HomeFinder.com.
Prior to his appointment, Tim was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Apartments.com — a separate division of CV — a role he maintained since January 2001. In the five-plus years under Tim's leadership, the Apartments.com business saw its advertiser base grow from 7,000 to over 14,000, and revenues increase by over 500 percent, while vastly improving the profitability of the business.
Before joining CV in 1998, Tim spent five years in commercial lending at Bank of America and three years as a practicing CPA with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, LLC, in their general audit and business advisory services group.
Tim holds a bachelor's degree in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree in finance and economics from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business. Tim and his wife Maureen reside in Wilmette, IL, with their three children.
