I've been in online real estate for over 10 years both as an active real estate agent in Dallas, TX and as a co-founder of a dot com startup launching one of the first sites dedicated to a nationwide open house search.

I'm originally from Charleston, South Carolina, (come on... with this name, where else could I be from?) and made my way to Chicago via the warmer climates of Gainesville, Fl. (GO GATORS! Class of '91), Atlanta, GA. and Dallas, TX. You know… places where they actually have Spring and sub-zero winters don't compute.

I'm currently living and loving Chicago's north side neighborhood of East Ravenswood, and enjoy all things quintessentially Chicago including: commuting to HomeFinder's Loop Office location on CTA's Brown Line (yes, I love being a commuter and NOT a driver), sailing and boating on Lake Michigan and the Chicago River, taking my dogs to the Dog Beach at Montrose Harbor and while there, contemplating the day I'll try Kite Surfing, exploring Chicago's many wonderful neighborhoods, restaurants and terrific mid-western people, and admiring the fantastic architecture that makes Chicago a uniquely American city.

Beyond Chicago, it's art, history, design, construction, high rises, urban planning, ancestry research and the business of real estate that keeps me going.
