What do McDonald’s Golden Arches, Nike’s Swoosh, and Target’s Bulls Eye all have in common? Each logo is recognizable without the use of the company’s
name – the image speaks for itself. As a real estate agent, creating brand recognition is an important aspect of earning new business in your community.
While your logo won’t sell homes for you, it will help to establish your identity and create brand recognition with potential buyers. Whether you are new to the real estate industry or you are a seasoned veteran, make sure your logo effectively represents your brand, by following the below three steps:
- • Keep the photo associated with your logo current. Hire a photographer to take a basic headshot in professional attire, with a blank background. Update your headshot every three to five years, as needed.
- • Invest in your logo. Consult with a professional branding or graphic design firm to design a logo that best speaks to your personal brand, your target client base and the lifestyle you specialize in selling.
- • Evoke an emotion. Think of your logo as the first communication with future clients. Do you specialize in luxury homes? Urban dwellings? Family-oriented suburbs? Make sure your logo reflects that specialization and message.
Follow the above three steps to best reach your target audience and ultimately grow your business. Need a starting point? Contact Agent Makeover® for a personal logo design consultation.
